We recommend you come see the GP as soon as possible to confirm pregnancy and to discuss referral to the hospital for your first antenatal appointment. 


We provide free ante-natal care, through the HSE Maternity and Infant Scheme, this includes a 2 week baby check and 6 week mother and baby check.

Vaccines  in pregnancy

We provide the flu vaccine and whooping cough (Pertussis) vaccines during pregnancy. The whooping cough vaccine is typically given between 16-36 weeks of pregnancy.
